Senior Application Architect – Azure, Python & Databricks | Ness Digital Engineering (Hybrid, India)
Design multi-tenant SaaS solutions using Python, Azure, and Databricks. Own cloud architecture, deployment, security, integrations, scalability, and tenant isolation.
Description
- Create end-to-end architectures for multi-tenant applications
- Establish the multi-tenancy model, including tenant and layer isolation principles
- Architect application, UI, integration, database, and security layers
- Define deployment architecture and recommend suitable Azure and Databricks services
- Design authentication and authorization frameworks
- Establish integration patterns and service boundaries
- Choose technologies and Azure services such as Azure Databricks, Databricks Apps, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and Databricks pipelines and jobs
- Develop high-level architecture diagrams and modular specifications for development teams
- Validate scalability, security, maintainability, and tenant isolation across the architecture
- Partner with the Lead Developer to turn architectural designs into implementable components
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience
- Proven experience architecting multi-tenant applications
- Strong knowledge of multi-layer application architecture
- Experience with Python-based application architecture
- Practical experience with Azure and Azure Databricks
- Experience designing application deployment models
- Strong understanding of authentication, integrations, and service isolation
- Experience with PostgreSQL and database architecture
- Understanding of UI, application, integration, database, and security layers
- Experience defining architectures for cloud-based SaaS products
- Databricks Apps deployment architecture is preferred
- Azure AKS or App Service architecture experience is preferred
- Experience with Streamlit and Python application architectures is preferred
- Experience with FastAPI or Django application architectures is preferred
