Senior Android Developer (Remote, Spain)
Build native Android apps for knowmad mood mobile projects, with a focus on Java, Kotlin, ExoPlayer, and media platforms. The role also covers advertising, on-demand content, and end-to-end mobility solutions.
Description
- Develop native Android applications in Java and Kotlin
- Contribute to ongoing mobile projects
- Work on end-to-end mobility solutions, from consulting and improvement plans to augmented reality, geolocation, security, and app store publishing
- Implement and maintain native ExoPlayer features, including advertising and on-demand content
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality projects
- Support the development of media platforms
Requirements
- At least five years of experience developing native Android applications with Java and Kotlin
- Experience using Android Studio and its tools
- Strong knowledge of the native ExoPlayer and its lifecycle, including advertising, on-demand content, and core player features
- Android TV development knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of Google Play Services and Google Assistant
- Experience with a metrics or analytics SDK such as Adobe, Comscore, or Firebase Analytics
- Knowledge of ad servers such as SpotX, Ooyala, FreeWheel, or SmartAdServer
- Knowledge of Rx, Dagger, dependency injection, and Jetpack
- Experience developing a media platform
