Senior Accountant and Reporting Analyst - Romania Remote

Description
- Manage month-end and year-end close tasks, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and financial reviews.
- Prepare accurate management reports and analysis in line with accounting standards and company policies.
- Produce ad hoc financial and operational analysis to inform management decisions.
- Assess financial results and trends, translating findings into clear conclusions and insights.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate unresolved discrepancies.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Support group consolidation and consolidated reporting activities.
- Help implement, improve, and optimise ERP and finance systems through testing, process design, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain reporting tools and dashboards built with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Create and refine finance processes, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform operational accounting tasks while supporting automation and efficiency initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver financial analysis and decision support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
- At least seven years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and finance operations.
- Working knowledge of IFRS.
- Practical experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Background in ERP implementation, finance transformation, or finance system enhancement projects.
- Advanced Excel capability and a strong analytical approach.
- High attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI is highly advantageous.
- A professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
- Experience in a multi-entity, international organisation is beneficial.
