Description
- Independently deliver respiratory therapy treatments and procedures based on physician orders and established guidelines.
- Provide care within the scope of practice established by the Georgia Composite Medical Board.
- Manage care for assigned adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Provide care in adult or neonatal intensive care areas after completing the required competency.

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program.
- Hold an unrestricted Registered Respiratory Therapist license from the Georgia Composite Medical Board in good standing.
- Maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- A bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy is preferred.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification is preferred.
