Lead clinical real-world data translation at Labcorp by converting healthcare concepts into technical definitions and analyses. Support AI-enabled data products, scientific publications, congress presentations, and clinical partnerships.
Description
- Direct strategic delivery of real-world data strategy and technical solutions
- Define use cases and requirements that inform product roadmaps
- Assess medical literature, clinical guidelines, healthcare information, and technology developments that influence RWD requirements
- Convert clinical concepts and requirements into precise data definitions
- Partner with technical and business leaders to improve RWD solutions
- Design analyses that verify the scientific and clinical accuracy of Labcorp RWD data and solutions
- Improve data definitions, analyses, and interpretation in partnership with Labcorp clinical and scientific experts
- Identify and lead AI applications for clinical translation and data or product workflows
- Act as the primary resource for cohort definitions, feature definitions, and clinical questions
- Advance engagement, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency through continuous improvement
- Resolve clinical questions throughout data and product development and delivery
- Develop relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare practitioners, academic institutions, industry professionals, and Labcorp clinical leaders
- Present use cases, definitions, and RWD content to internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to congress and publication strategy
- Work with analytics teams to generate insights for scientific publications and congresses
- Attend major congresses to present findings and engage clinical leaders
Requirements
- Healthcare professional degree, such as an MD or PharmD, plus at least 3 years of clinical practice
- At least 2 years of experience in real-world data, real-world evidence, and/or healthcare analytics
- Working knowledge of real-world data and the life sciences or healthcare industry
- Knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy laws, and related best practices
- Advanced understanding of medical coding ontologies, including ICD-10, NDC, and RxNorm
- Experience using AI tools for data generation, interpretation, and validation
- Ability to collaborate across clinical, business, and technical teams and with external partners
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong planning, multitasking, and prioritization capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
