Description

  • Design educational illustrations and infographics that clarify complex concepts across existing and forthcoming courses.
  • Create scalable pictograms and icons aligned with Medify’s visual style.
  • Produce engaging illustrations for the website, marketing assets, and product.
  • Use AI tools to explore ideas and develop content, applying strong design judgment to refine the output.
  • Contribute to illustration guidelines as Medify evolves its visual identity.
  • Evaluate commissioned artwork and give external illustrators specific, constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with the lead Illustrator and Learning team to interpret briefs and deliver effective visuals.
  • Work with Product Designers and Engineers to integrate artwork effectively into the Medify interface.
  • Maintain artwork libraries across Figma, Notion, and Google Drive.

Requirements

  • Approximately 2–3 years of professional experience in illustration or graphic design.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong illustration and design ability, including composition, colour, and drawing fundamentals.
  • Skill in translating complex educational concepts into clear, engaging visuals.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma.
  • A considered approach to feedback and a sharp eye for inconsistencies in artwork.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with remote colleagues and external contractors.
  • Comfort incorporating AI tools into a creative process while preserving a high standard of original craft.
  • Experience in an in-house design team or within an established visual identity is desirable.
  • An interest in making education more enjoyable and accessible is desirable.
  • Animation skills are desirable.
