Mental Health Therapist - Hybrid in Lee's Summit, Missouri
Provide diagnostic assessment and therapy services for clients at Ellie Mental Health’s Missouri clinics. Manage 25 client hours each week while completing treatment plans, clinical documentation, and collaborative care.
Description
- Assess clients’ mental health diagnoses
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans
- Keep required clinical records current, including diagnosis updates, treatment plan reviews, and case notes
- Manage a full-time schedule of 25 client hours per week
- Deliver a high standard of service to clients
- Work closely with a collaborative, energetic team
- Use creative interventions to support clients in reaching their goals
- Complete individual session records in line with company standards
Requirements
- Master’s degree in behavioral science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Currently progressing toward professional licensure
- Active Missouri clinical license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW
- Experience using diagnostic tools and preparing treatment plans and clinical case notes
- Preferred familiarity with therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and mental health records
- Consistent ability to submit documentation on time
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate, stable boundaries with clients
- Comfort providing care to a diverse range of clients
- Proficiency with standard office tools and electronic health record systems
- Additional training or certification in CBT, DBT, EMDR, Play Therapy, or Sand Tray Therapy is preferred but not required
- Ability to sustain a caseload of 25 client hours weekly
