Legal Intern - Travelers (Hybrid, Walnut Creek)
Support Travelers’ property-casualty insurance practice as a Legal Summer Associate through legal research, discovery, and motion drafting. Build courtroom and litigation experience through mentoring and participation in legal proceedings.
Description
- Research legal issues and authorities
- Prepare discovery materials
- Draft briefs and motions
- Observe proceedings across various courts
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, court appearances, and trials or hearings
- Work with Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff, and business partners
- Incorporate substantive feedback into assigned work
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited law school
- Be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- Be available for a 10- to 12-week summer internship from June 2027 through August 2027
- Plan to work 40 hours per week
