- Collaborate directly with a major banking-sector client
- Drive measurable business value through data
- Support the ingestion, integration, processing, and storage of high-volume data
- Extract data with Python and process it using PySpark
- Develop data solutions across Big Data, Data Lakes, and DataOps
Requirements
- Practical experience with AWS
- Experience using GitLab
- Experience extracting data with Python and processing it with PySpark
- Understanding of ingesting, integrating, processing, and storing high-volume data
- Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Familiarity with ETL tools
- Knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling for data warehousing
- Experience working with SQL databases
- Knowledge of AWS Big Data services, including EMR, Kinesis, Redshift, S3, Glue, and Elasticsearch
- Knowledge of Kafka
- Understanding of Data Lakes and DataOps
- Collaborative approach to teamwork
- Proactive attitude with a sense of urgency
- Ability to recognize problems and develop solutions
