French-Speaking Community Manager
Grow Reddit’s French-speaking communities and moderator network through local initiatives and consumer operations across the UK or Ireland.
Description
- Understand the market to identify challenges and opportunities for users and local moderators
- Refine and scale Reddit’s consumer growth playbook
- Spot opportunities, propose programs, and build internal support for plans
- Develop strategies to cultivate, recruit, educate, and grow local moderator communities
- Create a conversion funnel to onboard power users and external creators as active moderators
- Share quantitative and qualitative insights to improve the international consumer growth playbook
- Analyze data, define KPIs, and deliver community initiatives
- Use data to uncover insights about communities and moderators that inform the local team’s direction
- Partner across Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and Business Development
Requirements
- Contract engagement for candidates based in the UK or Ireland
- At least five years of experience in community development, project management, growth, operations, or product consulting
- Demonstrated success leading community projects with business impact
- In-depth knowledge of French culture, including current events, politics, customs, traditions, language, interests, and taboos
- Strong understanding of France’s digital landscape and internet culture
- Ability to work effectively with internal teams, local users, moderators, partners, creators, and influencers
- Strong execution skills and close attention to detail
- Interest in developing and leading projects, framing problems, finding solutions, testing hypotheses, and improving processes
- Fluency in French and English
