Founding CTO and AI Engineer – London Hybrid
Lead the technical development of Gigi, IRIS OS’s relationship-intelligence fundraising agent for female founders. Set the AI architecture, build responsible matching systems, and grow the engineering function from MVP through scale.
Description
- Convert real-world networking behaviour into structured data and intelligent AI workflows
- Lead product architecture from MVP to scale across email, WhatsApp, phone, and web on a secure serverless cloud foundation
- Create AI systems built around safety, fairness, privacy, and transparency
- Make recommendation and matching systems responsible, explainable, and resistant to harmful bias
- Establish AI governance, model evaluation, and responsible data-use practices as the platform expands
- Work with the CEO to translate user needs into technical strategy and product roadmaps
- Recruit and lead the engineering team as the company grows
Requirements
- Demonstrated AI engineering experience, including hands-on delivery and production scaling of AI or data-driven products
- Experience developing trustworthy AI, including model evaluation, bias reduction, privacy-preserving systems, and safe deployment
- Strong working knowledge of modern cloud and serverless infrastructure
- Ability to take products from zero to one while working with limited resources
- Product-oriented engineering approach grounded in user behaviour and real-world workflows
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and defining technical direction
- Venture ecosystem experience is a significant advantage
- Availability to work broadly within European hours
