Fixed-Term Accountant – ITW Construction Products (Melbourne/Auckland)
Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance for ITW Construction Products’ manufacturing operations across Australia and New Zealand. This fixed-term position is based in Melbourne or Auckland.
Description
- Manage month-end close, including balance sheet, profit and loss, and US corporate reporting
- Maintain the general ledger, journals, reconciliations, provisions, and significant accounting estimates
- Work with Divisional Controllers, Business Analysts, and Finance leaders to assess business performance
- Support payroll, statutory obligations, and financial reporting for an overseas subsidiary
- Coordinate internal and external audits while maintaining compliance with ITW policies and reporting standards
- Improve processes to strengthen reporting accuracy, efficiency, and commercial insight
Requirements
- CA or CPA qualification
- At least five years of financial accounting experience in a complex or matrixed organisation
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel capability and ERP experience; Pronto experience is advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions
- Proactive, detail-focused working style and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Based in Australia or New Zealand with full working rights
