- Handle financial planning, forecasts, and reporting for eBay’s Global Shipping team.
- Create a transparent framework for assessing business trends and the effects of initiatives.
- Oversee monthly close activities and journal entries, report expenses accurately, and maintain financial compliance.
- Prepare monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range strategic plans.
- Follow accounting policies and report and forecast capital spending accurately.
- Prepare monthly reports comparing actual results with budgets and forecast assumptions for each business.
- Review financial data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Use systems and tools to gather and consolidate data, analyze financial information, and prepare management reports.
- Manage Global P&L reporting and mapping, and maintain the underlying master data.
Requirements
- Work from the Austin, Texas, or Salt Lake City, Utah, office at least three days per week.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
- At least two years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Experience using financial systems and tools such as SAP.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and intellectually curious.
- Remote positions are not eligible for U.S. visa sponsorship.
