DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) - Raleigh, NC

Join Veradigm as a hybrid DevOps Engineer supporting Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and .NET healthcare applications. The role combines cloud automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, secure delivery, and full-stack engineering.

Description

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps for .NET applications
  • Develop Terraform modules for Azure services including App Services, Azure SQL, AKS, Key Vault, networking, and IAM
  • Create and support full-stack .NET functionality with C#, ASP.NET Core, and REST APIs
  • Deliver application bug fixes and enhancements as part of broader DevOps responsibilities
  • Automate build, deployment, and cleanup workflows with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Develop deployment scripts, log parsers, and engineering tools for development teams
  • Implement secure practices throughout build processes, pipelines, and infrastructure provisioning
  • Track application and infrastructure health with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Kibana, and Grafana
  • Investigate and resolve build, deployment, and environment problems
  • Work with development, QA, and product teams to turn requirements into technical designs and estimates
  • Create and update technical and deployment documentation
  • Review code and CI/CD pipelines
  • Report issues and risks promptly
  • Assist with the development of junior DevOps team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Two to four years of software engineering experience, ideally spanning development, operations, and infrastructure
  • Experience with version control, GitHub environments, GitHub, and Git workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure services covering compute, storage, networking, AKS, IAM, monitoring, and alerting
  • Strong experience using Terraform to manage Azure infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Azure App Services, Azure SQL, AKS, and Key Vault
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
  • Experience supporting .NET Framework and .NET Core applications
  • Working knowledge of C# and .NET
  • Experience developing or maintaining REST APIs
  • Strong scripting ability with PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, or comparable monitoring and logging tools
  • Knowledge of secure DevOps methods, security compliance, and scanning
  • Ability to diagnose build failures and deployment problems
  • Capacity to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities
  • Azure and/or Terraform certifications are advantageous
  • AWS experience is advantageous
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada
