Data Science and Analytics Intern
Support data analysis, cataloging, and dashboard development for business teams at Banco Mercantil’s innovation hub.
Description
- Join discovery sessions with business and technical teams to clarify challenges and turn them into data requests
- Help locate data and bring it into the analytics system
- Maintain data dictionaries and catalogs, and share them with data product owners
- Build dashboards with KPIs and monitoring tools to present findings clearly to business teams
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a higher education program, ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related discipline
- Be available for the two-year internship program
- Be available for a six-hour shift in the morning or afternoon
- SQL knowledge for on-premises systems such as DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle, as well as cloud platforms such as Snowflake, is an advantage
