Description
- Design scalable platforms for large volumes of structured, unstructured, and real-time data
- Develop horizontal data architectures that support reuse and cost efficiency
- Create solutions that strengthen data governance, privacy, and quality
- Apply privacy and security policies to data access
- Document technologies, component integrations, and logical interaction flows
- Lead technology innovation through scouting reports and opportunity analysis
- Track emerging technology trends and recommend relevant best practices
- Find improvement opportunities by integrating or replacing legacy systems
- Develop prototypes and proofs of concept for innovation initiatives
- Encourage data-driven decisions by connecting technical and business teams
- Build, optimize, and maintain conceptual and logical database models
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Preferred specialization in business intelligence, analytics, cloud computing, big data, or advanced data analytics
- Familiarity with data visualization and exploration tools such as Power BI and Looker
- Understanding of data pipelines from ingestion through decision-making
- Technical knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and big data structures
- Experience with database management
- Knowledge of data mining techniques
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms including GCP, Azure, OCI, or similar services
- Programming experience with SQL, Shell Script, R, Python, Scala, and Java
- Knowledge of Lean and Agile development practices
- Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
