Description
- Support sales through in-store and point-of-sale activities
- Welcome customers, identify their needs, provide informed service, and recommend products using effective selling strategies
- Maintain cosmetic merchandising standards
- Keep gondolas, displays, product assortments, and drawers clean and organized
- Take part in daily cosmetic business activities, product animations, and in-store events
- Build product knowledge and develop makeup artistry techniques as needed
- Attend store meetings and training sessions as required
- Attract prospective clients and engage them promptly
- Deliver a personalized, high-touch client experience
- Carry out other assigned duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of makeup sales or makeup artist experience preferred
- High energy and comfort approaching and speaking with store customers
- Enjoyment of persuading customers in a positive manner
- Strong sales skills
- Goal-oriented
- Outgoing and personable
- Ability to apply basic makeup
- Available to work full-time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to remain on the sales floor for extended periods as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
