Chief Information Officer (CIO) – Luxembourg
Lead technology strategy, cybersecurity, and IT governance at knowmad mood, supporting digital transformation in the banking sector. Oversee modernization and regulatory compliance.
Description
- Set and deliver the technology strategy.
- Maintain the availability, security, and resilience of information systems.
- Advance digital transformation and technology innovation.
- Manage technology vendors and strategic partners.
- Direct IT budgets, investments, and technology planning.
- Ensure compliance with banking and financial services regulations and legal requirements.
- Work with business units to identify improvement and digitalization opportunities.
- Lead cybersecurity, technology risk management, and business continuity programs.
- Coordinate platform modernization, enterprise architecture, and adoption of emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bring proven technology leadership experience in banking or financial services.
- Have a track record leading multidisciplinary teams and managing IT functions at a strategic level.
- Know technology environments, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and IT governance in depth.
- Have experience managing vendors and budgets and delivering transformation projects.
- Understand financial-sector regulatory requirements and technology standards.
- Be fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
- Be willing to relocate to Luxembourg.
- Prior experience as a CIO, Head of IT, or equivalent leader is preferred.
- Experience in international or multinational environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of private banking, wealth management, or specialized financial services is preferred.
