Build Dinero’s first internal controlling function while supporting forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and automation for accounting software used by more than 100,000 Danish SMEs.
Description
- Establish and shape Dinero’s first internal Business Controller function
- Work closely with the COO, leadership team, and wider Dinero organization
- Prepare forecasts and monitor financial performance
- Support the annual budget and challenge the underlying assumptions
- Lead the monthly close, including soft and hard close activities
- Analyze financial results and explain what the numbers indicate
- Own the finance component of management reporting and make it useful for leadership
- Perform quality controls and manage Visma reporting
- Ensure costs are classified and reported accurately
- Play a key role in audits and year-end closing
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve finance processes
- Bring financial insight to product development and customer behavior
- Support may be outsourced or automated for bookkeeping
Requirements
- Strong foundation in finance and controlling
- Experience with monthly closing processes
- Experience with year-end closing and annual financial reporting
- Ability to explain financial topics clearly to both finance professionals and non-finance colleagues
- Strong commercial understanding and the ability to identify patterns
- Willingness to ask questions and constructively challenge decisions
- Interest in automation and more efficient processes
- Interest in Dinero’s product and product development
- Year-end closing experience is expected
- Familiarity with Visma work and reporting methods
- Knowledge of Chargebee is relevant to the existing back-office setup
