Back-End Engineer

Description
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and system components
- Write code that is clear, maintainable, and thoroughly tested
- Contribute to technical discussions and suggest ways to improve architecture and performance
- Work with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver high-quality features
- Help the team meet its goals and improve existing systems
- Track the performance and reliability of delivered solutions and drive improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2–4 years of software engineering experience building web applications, products, and solutions in production environments
- Experience with Python
- Hands-on experience with at least one additional backend language, such as Node.js, Java, Go, or PHP
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL databases, or both
- Experience using Docker and containers
- Familiarity with cloud environments; AWS is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools
- Startup or high-growth company experience is a plus
- Experience working in B2B environments is a plus
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is a plus
- Experience building AI-driven products is a plus
