Accountant / Certified Accountant – Hybrid in Munich
Manage monthly and annual financial statements for a global electronics components manufacturer and distributor. Improve finance processes and help advance the company’s ERP software.
Description
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and external consultants
- Process accruals and deferrals for receivables, provisions, and prepaid and deferred income
- Assist with tax audits conducted by the authorities
- Prepare advance VAT returns
- Reconcile the general ledger with subsidiary ledgers
- Improve finance processes and workflows
- Support process design initiatives, including the continued development of ERP software
- Help develop company policies and support their implementation
- Work closely with senior management and external consultants
Requirements
- Completed commercial or business-focused vocational training, or a degree in business administration or economics
- Additional qualifications such as Certified Accountant (IHK) or Tax Specialist are advantageous but not mandatory
- Relevant professional experience in accounting
- Practical experience handling the responsibilities listed for the role
- Experience working with an ERP system
- Strong collaboration skills combined with an autonomous approach to work
