V&V Developer, Infrastructure and Automation
At Octasic, build automation and observability infrastructure for verification and validation of wireless and embedded systems. Develop CI/CD, telemetry, and validation tools for critical systems.

- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and validation infrastructure.
- Create software that automates validation workflows and regression tests.
- Develop Python and C++ tools for device under test control, user equipment interaction, instrument orchestration, telemetry collection, KPI extraction, and automated analysis.
- Automate communications with laboratory instruments, network equipment, embedded systems, and wireless devices.
- Build APIs, services, utilities, and orchestration layers for automated verification and validation workflows.
- Support end-to-end test bench automation and system integration.
- Increase the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of validation environments.
- Create reusable validation libraries, services, and components.
- Build telemetry ingestion and monitoring workflows using MQTT, Kafka, ETL pipelines, logging, and tracing.
- Support system observability and monitoring.
- Develop KPI extraction and automated analysis pipelines.
- Support dashboards, reporting, and regression analysis.
- Integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support automated deployment, test execution, and reporting workflows.
- Work with software teams to improve testability and delivery quality.
- Support regression automation and scalable infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot integration and system issues using logs, traces, packet captures, telemetry, API analysis, and network debugging.
- Work with development and systems teams to identify root causes and verify fixes.
- Help reproduce system and field issues in controlled environments.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong software development skills in Python, C++, and Bash or shell scripting.
- Experience building automation frameworks, validation tools, software infrastructure, regression platforms, and orchestration systems.
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps; version control with Git; Linux; and Docker-based execution.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, Ethernet, API integration, and system debugging.
- Familiarity with Wireshark, telemetry collection, observability, and log-based troubleshooting.
- Experience with Playwright, Pytest, automation frameworks, and backend or API validation.
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working in rapidly changing engineering environments.
- Eligible to obtain Canadian security clearance.
- Preferred: experience with wireless systems, LTE/5G, RF environments, or embedded systems.
- Preferred: experience integrating laboratory instruments such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, channel emulators, and oscilloscopes.
- Preferred: experience with NI tools, TestStand, LabVIEW, PXI systems, SCPI/VISA instrument control, or automated measurement environments.
- Preferred: experience with MQTT, Kafka, ETL or data pipelines, Grafana, Prometheus, or observability stacks.
- Preferred: experience with integrated hardware and software systems or telecommunications, aerospace, defense, or safety-critical environments.
- Preferred: knowledge of distributed systems, telemetry analytics, or KPI-driven validation.
