Senior SQL Server Database Administrator
Maintain and improve Epicor’s enterprise SQL Server infrastructure, with a focus on performance, security, automation, and production reliability. Support data-driven ERP solutions in a hybrid role based in Hungary.

- Set up, configure, and maintain relational database environments.
- Improve database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Manage database backup and recovery strategies.
- Apply and enforce security controls for access, encryption, and auditing.
- Favor and recommend automated solutions over manual controls.
- Work with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to build scalable database solutions.
- Monitor databases, investigate issues, and resolve problems.
- Support deployments and production operations for enterprise-scale systems.
- Contribute to incident response and root cause investigations.
- Advance automation using PowerShell, T-SQL, or other industry-standard tools.
- Meet data governance frameworks, security policies, and internal standards.
- Keep documentation current and maintain audit readiness.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA and/or Developer in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrate advanced T-SQL skills, including complex query development, performance tuning, and indexing strategies.
- Understand SQL Server architecture and internals, along with high availability options such as AlwaysOn Availability Groups, clustering, and replication.
- Use PowerShell scripting to automate, monitor, and streamline administrative tasks.
- Be willing to join on-call rotations and support production incident management.
- Experience with SSRS and SSIS is an advantage.
- Be prepared to adopt and integrate automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Python.
- Have exposure to major cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Be familiar with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, SolarWinds, or equivalent platforms.
