Senior Public Relations Manager at Kiva, Remote in the United States
Lead Kiva’s public relations, media engagement, thought leadership, and partner campaign efforts in support of its financial-inclusion mission. The role also oversees LinkedIn, communications reporting, impact storytelling, and performance insights.

- Partner with the Director to advance Kiva’s public relations and thought leadership priorities
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with Kiva’s PR firm
- Develop media opportunities using borrower stories, impact data, and outcome metrics
- Manage Muck Rack, including tracking, reporting, trend analysis, and localized media lists
- Keep PR resources current and ready for partner use
- Lead localized outreach to smaller-scale and community-focused media
- Find and develop opportunities for public relations and thought leadership
- Plan and deliver public-facing partner campaigns from concept through completion
- Work with Marketing and Creative on campaign briefs, assets, and content
- Direct Kiva’s LinkedIn strategy and daily channel operations
- Extend thought leadership narratives through channels, conferences, panels, awards, and industry events
- Manage Communications & Influence reporting and identify performance trends
- Distribute campaign findings, insights, and results to internal teams and partners
- Maintain communications resources on the Confluence intranet
आवश्यकताएँ
- Permanent, full-time authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is unavailable
- Demonstrated public relations and media relations experience, including pitching journalists, building media relationships, and securing earned coverage
- Experience creating and delivering thought leadership strategies
- Background managing communications or marketing campaigns involving multiple partners
- Strong media-pitching skills and established journalist relationships
- Experience turning data and stories into compelling, pitch-ready narratives
- Experience working with or overseeing a PR agency
- Strong creative writing, thought leadership, content development, and media-pitch writing abilities
- Ability to convert impact data, borrower stories, and outcome metrics into PR materials
- Experience coordinating public-facing campaigns with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage cross-functional timelines, deliverables, and approval processes
- Experience managing and expanding a brand presence on LinkedIn or a similar professional platform
- Familiarity with obtaining speaking, panel, awards, or conference opportunities
- Comfort using reporting and analytics tools
- PR agency experience or client-side experience managing a PR agency is preferred
- Working knowledge of Sprout or an equivalent platform, Air or an equivalent platform, Looker or an equivalent platform, Dovetail or an equivalent platform, and Salesforce or an equivalent platform is preferred
- A relevant degree is required
