Manage large-scale NoSQL infrastructure for Verisk’s insurance technology solutions. Automate AWS operations with Terraform and Python while strengthening reliability, scalability, and incident response.

- Build, operate, and maintain NoSQL database infrastructure on AWS.
- Manage NoSQL clusters through planning, installation, upgrades, security patching, data retention, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
- Develop automation with Terraform, Python, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Identify practical ways to apply AI to productivity, operational workflows, and incident response.
- Help deliver highly available, scalable infrastructure for customer-facing services.
- Work with application development and DevOps teams to test, troubleshoot, and improve database-driven applications.
- Monitor production, UAT, and other database environments, resolving performance, availability, and scalability issues.
- Contribute to infrastructure and cost optimization efforts.
- Advise DBAs across the global team on NoSQL technologies and infrastructure.
- Join on-call and priority support rotations outside standard hours for critical 24/7 systems.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bring at least four years of relevant experience administering NoSQL databases and Linux environments.
- Have strong technical knowledge of OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Solr, and Redis.
- Bring hands-on experience with database installation, upgrades, security patching, performance tuning, monitoring, production support, and troubleshooting.
- Have experience with Linux and shell scripting.
- Know Python or another programming language.
- Have built automation with scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Have worked in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Have supported critical enterprise database applications in a 24/7 operating environment.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate with database, development, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
- Take a practical engineering approach focused on reliable, maintainable, appropriately simple solutions.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
