- Set technical direction, estimate work, and deliver features on schedule.
- Design scalable, secure, observable architectures spanning APIs, services, data models, caching, and integrations.
- Create front-end experiences with React.
- Develop Foundry back-end services using Ontology, Functions, and Datasets.
- Design Ontology schemas to support efficient queries and performance.
- Implement and test software from broad customer requirements and minimal interface designs.
- Apply engineering practices to create maintainable, efficient, reliable, clear, and fault-tolerant code.
- Own a new application that works alongside the Maven Smart System ecosystem backed by Palantir Foundry.
- Incorporate user feedback and help deliver weekly releases.

- An active Secret clearance is required; an interim clearance is acceptable.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Hands-on development experience with Palantir Foundry.
- Experience designing Foundry Ontology object types, links, and actions.
- Experience with Workshop and/or Slate applications.
- Experience using TypeScript with Foundry Functions.
- Experience with the Ontology SDK (OSDK) for custom React applications is preferred.
- Knowledge of DevOps Marketplace workflows for exporting and importing applications, creating and managing datasets and materialized datasets, and handling user edits.
- Experience with Maven Smart System, AIP, or Gotham in a defense or intelligence setting is strongly preferred.
- 6–10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with asynchronous programming, observables, and data structuring.
- Experience building REST APIs with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Understanding of concurrency, asynchronous patterns, and API design.
- Experience with application state management strategies.
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, including responsive design and CSS preprocessors.
- Knowledge of UI frameworks.
- Experience building full stack web applications to design team specifications.
- Familiarity with front-end and back-end build tools and package managers.
- Familiarity with source control, defect tracking, and collaboration tools.
- A background screening, check, or investigation may be required as a condition of employment.
