Senior Financial Consolidation Consultant
Lead Prophix Financial Consolidations implementations for multi-entity organizations, shaping close, reporting, and consolidation processes for finance teams across the UK and EMEA.

- Lead Prophix Financial Consolidations implementations for multi-entity organizations across the UK and EMEA.
- Evaluate clients’ existing consolidation, close, and financial reporting processes.
- Design improved workflows for future operations.
- Take ownership of Prophix Financial Consolidations architecture and configuration.
- Configure intercompany processing, eliminations, currency translation, ownership structures, non-controlling interests, and consolidated cash flow.
- Build month-end and quarter-end processes for data integration, account mapping, reconciliations, journal workflows, top-side entries, and consolidated reporting.
- Set up solutions to comply with IFRS and local accounting standards, including UK and Belgian GAAP.
- Guide client engagements from kickoff through go-live and post-launch support.
- Oversee plans, risks, dependencies, scope changes, testing, delivery standards, and schedules.
- Coordinate multiple client engagements at the same time.
- Keep clients and internal leaders informed about progress, decisions, and blockers.
- Serve as the primary escalation contact for technical, scope, and stakeholder concerns.
- Contribute to pre-sales scoping and delivery estimates.
- Apply approved AI tools to documentation, mapping analysis, testing, and client training materials.
- Train client finance teams in the software and consolidation practices.
- Check and assure the quality of colleagues’ deliverables.
- Mentor team members and develop reusable templates, accelerators, and practices.
- Partner with implementation firms on jointly delivered projects.

- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least six years in financial consolidation, close, group reporting, or CPM/consolidation software implementation, including three or more years leading end-to-end consolidation implementations.
- Practical experience preparing consolidated financial statements for multi-entity, multi-currency groups.
- Strong knowledge of investment and equity eliminations, intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidated cash flow.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and at least one applicable local GAAP framework.
- Demonstrated ability to lead client workshops, convert accounting needs into system designs, and communicate with finance executives such as CFOs and Controllers.
- Experience connecting ERP and general ledger systems, such as SAP, Unit4, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience designing account and entity mappings.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience planning and overseeing several implementations concurrently.
- Sound judgment when using AI-assisted tools, including care with confidential client data.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based.
- Willingness to travel to client locations and Prophix offices as project needs require.
- A professional accounting credential such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or a local equivalent is preferred.
- Prophix Financial Consolidations or another consolidation platform implementation experience is preferred.
- Experience with multi-GAAP reporting is preferred.
- Working knowledge of SQL or other data transformation tools is preferred.
- French and/or Dutch is an advantage.
- Experience mentoring or leading consultants is preferred.
