- Set and execute global logistics strategy across network design, warehousing, transportation, and 3PL/4PL operations
- Oversee company-operated and outsourced warehouses, distribution centers, and global transportation activities
- Create consistent logistics standards, governance, procedures, metrics, and management practices across regions
- Use data and KPIs to improve delivery reliability, cycle times, capacity, utilization, costs, and customer service
- Manage carrier and logistics-provider performance while partnering with Procurement on sourcing, contracts, capacity, and contingencies
- Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Delivery, Commercial, Quality, and regional teams on issue resolution, launches, network changes, and execution
- Maintain compliance with quality, trade, customs, security, environmental health and safety, and company standards
- Direct logistics risk management and business continuity planning
- Advance process standardization, automation, systems enhancements, and the use of ERP, warehouse, transportation, and analytics platforms
- Prepare operating plans, budgets, resource plans, and productivity initiatives while managing commitments and lowering total logistics costs
- Build and develop a high-performing global team through coaching, succession planning, and capability development
- Lead warehouse launches, site transfers, and 3PL/4PL implementations from readiness through cutover and stabilization
- Report to the VP, Global Customer Delivery
- Handle special projects and other assigned responsibilities
आवश्यकताएँ
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in supply chain, logistics, operations, business, engineering, or a related discipline
- Bring more than 12 years of progressive logistics, supply chain, distribution, or operations experience, including substantial leadership responsibility
- Have experience directing global or multi-regional transportation, warehousing, distribution, and third-party logistics operations
- Have direct leadership experience across global or multi-regional transportation, warehousing, distribution, and 3PL/4PL operations, including company-operated facilities
- Have experience with ERP and supply chain technology, including warehouse management, transportation management, automation, and analytics systems
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of global transportation, warehousing, distribution, inventory control, and 3PL/4PL operations
- Understand regulated-industry quality systems and relevant global trade, customs, security, and transportation requirements
- Demonstrate financial and business strength in budgeting, business cases, cost-to-serve analysis, contract economics, and productivity planning
- Work effectively in a fast-moving global environment while balancing service, compliance, risk, and cost
- Oracle experience is preferred
- Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or another regulated sector is preferred
- Lean, Six Sigma, APICS, CSCMP, or an equivalent professional certification is preferred; travel is typically 20–50% of the time.
