Senior CPA (Certified Public Accountant) - Abu Dhabi Onsite
Lead financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, and controls for Uvation’s multi-entity operations. Support growth through forecasting, cash-flow oversight, and actionable financial analysis.
विवरण
- Prepare and assess financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards
- Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance reviews
- Coordinate internal and external audits, acting as the auditor contact and ensuring accurate, timely submissions
- Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance filings
- Contribute to budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow monitoring
- Evaluate financial risks and process inefficiencies, recommending savings and operational improvements
- Help establish, implement, and monitor internal controls and accounting policies
- Partner with FP&A, operations, legal, and leadership on financial analysis and business initiatives
- Process transactions across multiple entities and currencies
- Coach junior accounting staff, review their work, and promote consistent accounting practices
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- A master’s degree is preferred
- Must be an Emirati or UAE national candidate
- CPA certification is strongly preferred
- At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 8 or more years in a senior or supervisory role
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Experience with ERP and accounting platforms such as MS Dynamics and NetSuite
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and audit-support tools
- Experience with international and multi-currency accounting
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
- Demonstrated integrity and discretion when managing confidential information
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Able to explain complex financial matters clearly to non-finance colleagues
- Able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines
- Collaborative approach across teams and departments
