- Design and build features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and API management platform
- Take projects from initial design through deployment
- Maintain scalability, reliability, and performance in a service operating around the clock
- Develop large-scale distributed systems and multi-tenant SaaS applications
- Use C++, Java, Lua, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Nginx, Tomcat, Apache, MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, and AWS services
- Partner with engineering, product management, and operations colleagues
- Produce code that is maintainable, clear, and extensible
- Support the growth of fellow engineers and developers through mentoring
- Use data to guide decisions and contribute to key initiatives

- Bring 10 or more years of experience building large-scale distributed applications
- Have substantial experience developing multi-tenant SaaS applications

- Have substantial experience with leading relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL
- Be skilled in authoring JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

- Know how to deploy applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Have hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront
