Senior Business Analyst (Hybrid, Portugal)
Senior Business Analyst responsible for requirements, backlog prioritization, process improvement, testing, and data integration analysis. The role supports a major European Union bank through Agile delivery.

- Own requirements from initial definition through delivery to end users
- Lead workshops and interviews to capture, analyze, and document detailed business needs
- Convert business needs into functional and technical specifications, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Process Maps
- Prioritize and maintain the product backlog in line with Minimum Viable Product objectives
- Assess current-state processes and design efficient future-state workflows
- Detect bottlenecks, process gaps, and opportunities for automation or digital transformation
- Serve as the main link between business stakeholders and IT or development teams
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations for project scope and delivery timelines
- Explain complex technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Lead testing activities, including test strategy, complex IST scenarios for data flows and APIs, and regression testing
- Oversee defect resolution and confirm requirements with end users
- Examine data ecosystems to diagnose quality problems and trace inconsistent results to their root causes
- Apply data-driven analysis to test business assumptions and assess solution outcomes
- Work primarily in Agile environments, supporting iterative delivery and alignment with technical and business standards
आवश्यकताएँ
- Degree or comparable educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Management
- At least three years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable IT role
- Professional experience administering referential data, including data management and databases
- Strong ability to elicit and document requirements through User Stories, Use Cases, and Business Rules
- Advanced process-modeling skills using BPMN and UML
- Advanced knowledge of Agile practices, including backlog refinement, sprint management, and MVP feature prioritization
- Thorough understanding of testing processes, including complex Integration System Testing for APIs and interfaces and User Acceptance Testing
- Experience managing defects and maintaining traceability from requirements to test cases
- Solid knowledge of application architecture, system interfaces, data flows, and integration patterns such as APIs and Data Virtualization
- Ability to assess data quality and maintain consistency across multiple referential data sources
- Proficiency with ALM Octane, Jira, and Confluence
- Fluency in English
