Senior Accountant, General Ledger — US Remote
Lead multi-entity month-end close, US GAAP reporting, audit support, and M&A accounting from a fully remote US role. Contribute to Mitratech’s software business serving legal, risk, compliance, and HR teams.

- Manage month-end close from start to finish, including journal entries, general ledger schedules, and key account reconciliations
- Help deliver accurate, timely month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare monthly financial reporting, analyze variances, and address business partner questions
- Support the annual audit by preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and keeping documentation audit-ready
- Contribute to M&A integration reporting and technical accounting for acquisition transactions
- Keep accounting policies and standard operating procedures current
- Improve accounting processes by identifying inefficiencies, recommending solutions, and implementing stronger tools and controls
- Complete ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed
- Report to the GL Manager and partner with teams across Accounting and Finance
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least five years of relevant accounting experience, including two or more years as a Senior Accountant
- CPA certification or eligibility preferred
- Strong practical knowledge of US GAAP
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system
- Advanced Excel proficiency and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to balance competing priorities across multi-entity close cycles and M&A activities
- Clear communication skills and confidence working across functions
- Able to work fully remotely from anywhere in the United States
