Python Backend Engineer
Build tested Python backend services, manage cloud configuration and generate Excel reports on GCP. Support DysrupIT clients with cloud adoption and as-a-Service transformation.

- Build and maintain Python services and APIs with pydantic, FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Manage Firestore configuration data, including transactions and versioned documents.
- Maintain pipelines that sync Firestore data to BigQuery.
- Generate formatted Excel files and reports with openpyxl.
- Deploy and operate services on Cloud Run and Cloud Storage, including scheduled jobs.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Set up IAM roles and least-privilege service accounts.
- Write behavioral and property-based tests to verify code correctness.
- Check types with pyright and lint code with ruff.
- Work with data engineers and stakeholders to turn requirements into working services.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across services, integrations and deployments.
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least three years of Python data or backend engineering experience.
- Strong Python skills, including pydantic and FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Experience generating Excel files with openpyxl.
- Hands-on GCP experience with Firestore transactions and versioned documents, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage and scheduled jobs.
- Experience syncing data from Firestore to BigQuery.
- Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of IAM and least-privilege service account design.
- Experience writing behavioral and property-based tests.
- Experience with pyright type checking and ruff linting.
- Front-end development experience is preferred.
- Experience with financial, billing or data-intensive platforms is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments is preferred.
