Photonics Design and Test Engineer – Greece Remote
Design, lay out, and test silicon photonic devices and subsystems at Marvell Technology. Maintain probe-station infrastructure and evaluate opto-electronic measurement data.

- Design and lay out silicon photonic devices and subsystems, then validate their performance through testing
- Operate, maintain, service, and upgrade a die-level probe station for opto-electronic integrated circuit testing
- Develop ad hoc optical, electrical, and opto-electrical measurement setups
- Characterize optical, electrical, and opto-electrical components
- Analyze experimental datasets
आवश्यकताएँ
- Experience designing passive and active silicon photonics components and using photonic or opto-electronic simulation tools such as Lumerical, Photon Design, RSoft, VPI, or comparable platforms
- Experience with physical design and layout tools such as Cadence, Mentor, or comparable software
- Experience developing photonics test platforms and their associated software and hardware
- Ability to collect and analyze large datasets with JMP, DataConductor, or comparable data-analysis tools
- Either a master’s degree in photonics with more than five years of relevant experience or a PhD in a relevant photonic technology
- Authorization to work in Greece through EU citizenship or an existing Greek visa or work permit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail
