Lead Full-Stack Ruby Engineer (Remote, Brazil)
Lead development of clinical-trial data platforms using Ruby on Rails, React, and microservices. Collaborate with client teams and contribute to product and architecture decisions.

- Develop and maintain products for a clinical-trial data management and quality platform
- Build and support microservices with Ruby on Rails and React
- Track data flows across services, queues, event streams, external integrations, and data warehouses
- Help shape architecture, engineering, and product decisions
- Partner with embedded teams working directly with clients
- Manage multiple tickets and sustain progress when blocked
- Surface risks and gaps early
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in a lead role
- Strong professional experience with Ruby on Rails and React
- Practical experience building and maintaining microservice systems
- Can trace data across services, including queues, event streams, third-party integrations, and data warehouses
- Takes initiative and understands how the project works as a whole
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment and handling several tickets at once
- Raises useful questions and flags risks or gaps early
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency or higher
- Kafka or another event-streaming platform experience is a plus
- Snowflake or a similar analytics data warehouse experience is a plus
- Experience integrating and troubleshooting third-party APIs at scale is a plus
- Familiarity with observability tools, distributed tracing, and centralized logs is a plus
- Exposure to breaking down services or migrating a monolith to microservices is a plus
- Available to work Brazil hours, 9 AM to 5 PM BRT
