- Design structural systems and calculate loads for columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and lateral systems.
- Engineer structures using steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed steel, and wood.
- Prepare and coordinate engineering drawings and contract documents with BIM technologists and engineering colleagues.
- Carry out field reviews and contract administration as needed.
- Draft correspondence related to projects.
- Review architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural drawings.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Degree in engineering, focused on civil and structural engineering.
- EIT designation is an asset.
- Experience in contract administration and site inspection is an asset.
- Working knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word and Excel, and structural analysis tools such as SAP2000, RAM, and ETABS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with people at all levels, including clients and project stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deliverables on an ongoing basis.
- Knowledge of and interest in embodied carbon is an asset.
