- Review title work and prepare title binders and commitments for real estate closings
- Verify the validity of property titles
- Examine mortgages, liens, contracts, and related documents to confirm ownership and restrictions
- Research the title evidence required for each matter
- Obtain property descriptions and the names of involved parties
- Review individual titles to identify applicable restrictions
- Prepare reports detailing title obstructions
- Coordinate with the pre-closer on title-related information
- Enter data in SoftPro Select to create title binders, commitments, and other lender-required documents
- Perform additional or revised duties as assigned by the company
