- Map NOAA Fisheries species datasets from source to target systems.
- Document field-level transformation rules, data type conversions, and null-handling logic.
- Investigate data quality issues from prototype ingestion and document remediation needs.
- Research and record source attributes, refresh schedules, and data stewardship contacts for the Metadata and Authoritative Source Registry.
- Help define interoperability tests covering API connectivity, exchange protocols, and metadata alignment.
- Document compliance validation criteria for species-list generation, decision logic, and template completeness.
- Review live production consultation feedback and translate findings into system update requirements.
- Document data quality issues, defects, root causes, and remediation needs for the Prototype Ingest Results Report.
- Help define requirements and reporting specifications for a training metrics dashboard.
- Document NOAA Fisheries data refresh procedures for final operational documentation.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience; master’s degree with no experience; associate degree with 4 years; or high school diploma or equivalent with 6 years.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- All work must be performed within the United States.
- Experience supporting business analysis for data integration or data migration programs.
- Experience with source-to-target mapping and data quality analysis.
- Familiarity with API integration concepts and interoperability testing requirements.
- Strong analytical and technical documentation abilities.
- Experience supporting federal IT programs.
- Experience with NOAA Fisheries or other federal environmental data systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with ETL concepts, data pipelines, or cloud data platforms is preferred.
- Experience supporting compliance validation activities on federal programs is preferred.
- Experience contributing to program status or monthly progress reports is preferred.
- ECBA or CCBA certification is preferred.
