- Create and visualize concepts and mechanical solutions for livestock hardware, progressing designs from initial ideas to production-ready models.
- Design products for volume manufacturing alongside mechanical and manufacturing engineers.
- Establish and maintain industrial design guidelines for the company.
- Support farm and ranch field research into livestock interaction, working conditions, and operator workflows.
- Prioritize animal welfare, injury prevention, ergonomic use, and intuitive handling in product designs.
- Work with Product Management and UX to turn user feedback, field research, and competitor insights into physical product concepts.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial design or product design.
- Experience designing electromechanical products for volume production.
- Strong visualization ability using sketches, physical models, and digital models.
- Creative, capable problem-solving for complex design challenges.
- Self-directed and effective in a cross-functional team.
- Organized, with the ability to connect user needs to manufacturing requirements.
- Willingness to lead workshops and creative sessions.
