Build the media operation for Butter’s AI-powered creative platform. Lead short-form video production, experiment with content formats, and grow a freelance team.

- Build Butter’s media operation and content engine from the ground up
- Set content formats, workflows, and a publishing calendar
- Create, script, and direct two to three short-form videos per week at the outset
- Run structured tests of hooks, formats, and platforms
- Recruit, brief, and manage freelance video editors, motion designers, and copywriters
- Build and oversee a freelance production team
- Develop collaborations with creators and influencers
- Turn product launches, features, tutorials, and partner collaborations into engaging, shareable content
- Create systems and feedback loops that support reliable content delivery
- Monitor audience growth and content performance
- Help shape a scalable production model that may include an offshore team
- Work directly with the CEO

- At least four years of experience building content, media, or creator programs
- Ideally, experience launching at least one program from scratch
- Experience conceptualizing, directing, or producing short-form video
- Experience managing freelancers or production teams on a recurring schedule
- Strong understanding of modern social media, including its algorithms and effective hooks
- A creative point of view paired with operational discipline
- A record of measurable outcomes, such as views, followers, engagement, or content-driven signups
- A following or experience as a creator is a plus
- Experience managing influencer or creator partnership programs is a plus
- Experience producing a recurring show, podcast, or episodic series is a plus
- Experience in modern digital media, a creative agency, or as a startup’s founding marketer is a plus
