Freelance Footwear Packaging Designer
Design footwear packaging, dielines, and production-ready artwork for American Exchange Group’s multi-brand consumer goods portfolio.
विवरण
- Create engaging footwear and related-product packaging tailored to each brand and its customers
- Design boxes, bags, tissue, inserts, hangtags, labels, stickers, cards, wraps, and other branded packaging components
- Turn creative concepts and brand guidelines into consistent packaging systems across product collections
- Produce dielines, digital and print mockups, and 3D renderings when required
- Present product details, features, benefits, brand messaging, and care guidance through packaging
- Prepare and maintain precise technical specifications covering dimensions, materials, finishes, substrates, printing methods, and production requirements
- Deliver factory-ready and printer-ready artwork that complies with production specifications
- Partner with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Marketing, and overseas factories and vendors throughout development
- Inspect samples, proofs, and production materials for accuracy, color, print quality, finishes, and overall execution
- Coordinate multiple packaging projects and launches against deadlines and production calendars
- Develop supporting graphics for launches, marketing collateral, e-commerce, presentations, and other brand programs
- Ensure consistent, accurate branding across packaging and related product touchpoints
- Monitor packaging trends, materials, printing methods, finishes, and sustainable solutions
- Recommend improvements to packaging design, functionality, cost, and production workflows
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least five years of packaging design experience, ideally in footwear, handbags, fashion accessories, beauty, fashion, or consumer products
- A strong portfolio showing packaging work from concept development through production
- Advanced knowledge of packaging components, including dielines, substrates, printing processes, finishes, construction, and production requirements
- Solid command of branding and graphic design principles
- Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Experience producing print-ready artwork and working with printers, factories, and packaging vendors
- Experience sharing packaging specifications and revisions with overseas factories and vendors
- Experience with 3D rendering or visualization software is a plus
- Knowledge of packaging materials and current industry trends is a plus
- Strong design, organizational, communication, and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage and prioritize several projects in a fast-paced setting
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong grasp of print production and quality control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused working style
- Willingness to embrace change, address challenges, and recommend product, packaging, and process improvements
