Lead AI/ML and data analytics initiatives for Markon’s intelligence-community consulting programs. Provide SETA leadership, program management, acquisition support, and coordination with senior stakeholders.

- Direct SETA leadership and program management for several concurrent AI/ML and data analytics efforts
- Define project scope, performance measures, roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables
- Organize Technical Exchange Meetings with government stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors
- Connect division-wide efforts between front-office leaders and technical staff
- Capture workflows, processes, and requirements while prioritizing work through Agile practices
- Track open actions and ensure completion across projects and stakeholders
- Produce executive briefings, strategic plans, CONOPS, A&A materials, risk measures, and program tracking tools
- Maintain Confluence and HIVE knowledge bases and manage related distribution lists
- Oversee vendor work across multiple contracts, resolve obstacles, and preserve alignment with program goals
- Advise COTRs on technical issues and contract performance
- Assess emerging AI/ML platforms and capabilities through testing and evaluation
- Assist with demonstrations, training, and outreach programs
- Review project data and create mechanisms for collecting user feedback
- Assess delivery risks and implement monitored mitigation plans
- Use transcription and AI-supported summarization tools for meeting records
- Complete division administrative actions and process access and security documentation requests
- Run weekly division meetings and manage resulting actions and follow-up
- Compile division highlights for executive reporting and front-office coordination
- Support division leadership while tracking the status of AI/ML initiatives
- Coach junior staff and interns

- Active TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline
- At least 12 years of relevant engineering, program management, or SETA experience
- Demonstrated success engaging senior government leaders and informing consequential decisions
- Practical command of Agile methods and sprint-based delivery
- Working knowledge of software and systems development lifecycles (SDLC)
- Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML tools including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
- Understanding of deep learning principles and model architectures
- Personal or professional experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Experience incorporating AI/ML models into broader systems
- Background supporting complete AI/ML project delivery, including UI/UX, requirements capture, and lifecycle execution
- Ability to document workflows and processes from stakeholder needs
- Knowledge of requirements elicitation, analysis, and prioritization
- Understanding of government acquisition and contracting, including FAR, OTAs, COTR duties, and contract administration
- Experience advising COTRs on technical matters
- Experience assessing project risks and tracking mitigation efforts
- Background working on initiatives with varied stakeholder groups
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, coordination, and organizational abilities
- Capability to gather and interpret data and create visualizations
- Proficiency with Confluence, HIVE, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience preparing technical presentations, executive briefings, CONOPS, and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) materials
- AWS and Google Cloud experience preferred
- Docker and Kubernetes experience preferred
- DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and DevSecOps knowledge preferred
- SharePoint and Microsoft Project proficiency preferred
- Familiarity with data analytics platforms, enterprise data architectures, and ETL workflows preferred
- Experience with distributed computing and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra preferred
- Experience managing SETA support for software development programs preferred
- Familiarity with intelligence analysis workflows and targeting tools preferred
- Experience coordinating multiple vendor contracts simultaneously preferred
- Experience mentoring and developing interns preferred
- Project or program management credentials or training, such as PMP, Scrum Master, or ACP, preferred
