- Juris Doctor or other law degree
- Active law license and good standing in the state of employment
- Five to seven years of title insurance underwriting experience or comparable law firm experience
- Commercial real estate experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of real estate law and applicable federal and state regulations
- Working knowledge of real estate title and settlement processes
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and business judgment skills
- Ability to present alternative approaches and deliver difficult information tactfully
